Bed Frame FAQs
Q. What is the height of the Skye Ridge bed frame?
A. The total height of our frame is 12.5″.
Q. Will I need to put the frame together when it arrives?
A. Yes. In order to keep the price as low as we can, we ship the frame disassembled. We recommend using a rubber mallet and a power screwdriver for construction.
Q. How deep does the mattress sit in the Skye Ridge frame?
A. The Skye Ridge is considered a platform bed frame, so the mattress sits more ‘on top’ of the frame, rather than inside of it
Q. Does the Skye Ridge have a return policy?
A. Due to the cost of labor (our frames are custom handmade just for you) and materials, we do not accept returns or cancellations once we start production.
Q. How will it ship?
A. Depending on the size of your frame, they will ship either FedEx Ground or FedEx Freight.
Q. Does the Skye Ridge Frame require a box spring or foundation?
A. No. This frame is specifically designed to eliminate the need for a box spring or mattress foundation.
Q. How do I care for my bed frame?
A. Caring for your new frame is simple – all it requires is a regular dusting with a clean, soft cloth. It is important to avoid exposing your wood frame to products containing solvents (perfume, hairspray, nail polish remover, etc.) – these products can damage the finish of your frame.
Q. What happens if the wood of my bed frame is scratched?
A. Making repairs to your frame is fairly easy, and can be done with some basic supplies – sand paper and pure linseed oil. Depending on how deep the scratch is, you may need to use a coarser grit in order to blend the scratch. Once the scratch is gone, finish the area with pure linseed oil.
Q. Where can I buy a mattress for my Skye Ridge bed frame?
A. MattressInsider.com is the #1 manufacturer of Alaskan King beds, Wyoming King beds, Texas King beds, and Family King Beds. We offer a 3 piece mattress design, making it affordable to ship and easy to set up. It even gives you multiple options for adjusting the firmness!
